With their experience and technical advances in developing engine breathing products, it is expected that DC Sports would release their own line of high flow exhaust systems. The state-of-the-art manufacturing process that goes into their headers is carried on to the development of their exhaust system. The DC Sports exhaust system first starts with T304 stainless steel. This metal is known for its strong and lightweight properties. So it is used entirely on the muffler and exhaust piping. Exhaust piping is CNC mandrel bent for a consistent diameter throughout the entire piece. This ensures optimum exhaust flow even around tight corners. The larger diameter piping also increases air capacity, minimizing flow restrictions. CNC machined flanges finishes it off and everything is TIG welded for strength and a leak-free seal. The straight-through muffler core design is tested to allow maximum flow and power with an aggressive exhaust tone. Designing an exhaust to perform well was a challenge. The next challenge was getting a system to fit well and was easy to install. The DC Sports exhaust uses factory mounting locations for ease of installation. Solid hangers are used for added strength so you dont have to worry once the exhaust is installed. The DC Sports polished round barrel style muffler includes a four-inch straight cut exhaust tip with a rolled DC Sports logo. An aggressive exhaust tone is emitted that still meets 95 db exhaust noise restrictions. Several muffler styles are offered but are vehicle specific. The DC Sports exhaust system is a bolt-on kit and will require no welding or modifications. Instructions and hardware required for installation is included. Exhaust silencers are sold separately.
